I'm surprised no comment has been made the death of Mary Travers of Peter, Paul and Mary fame.
It's still a bit of a surprise to see the group on Jack's TV show because when you think of Jack's guests, you think of Bing or Jolson or Cantor. But I guess their presence shows Jack was going for a younger audience and Peter, Paul and Mary's harmonies made the most ironic protest songs palatable to an earlier generation viewing on TV.
