Mel Blanc, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing

This is VERY tangentially Benny-related, but I think Mel's fans will get a kick out of the story if they hadn't heard it before. I was watching the DVD of the 1959 Hammer version of HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, and in the supplementary material, Christopher Lee speaks very movingly about his relationship with his co-star of a billion horror films, Peter Cushing. He reveals that the two used to while away the hours on the sets of the Dracula, Frankenstein, etc. films by speaking in Mel's Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck voices to each other, and how this long-running game continued through the last time Lee saw Cushing shortly before his death in 1994.

Now THAT is something I would love to see and hear!
