Happy St. Patrick's Day, Mr. McNulty

Woke up this morning, March 17, and the local radio station was playing "Danny Boy," by Dennis Day! Gets a lad right in the mood for the day, now, doesn't it?

They probably save that one for later in the day, when the heavy partying is in full swing!

Mr. McNulty and Mr. Kennedy

Postby Jhammes » Tue Mar 20, 2007 7:40 am

The early 1960's saw "The Jack Benny Program" heading into the home stretch. Fortunately, Jack had a number one fan in the White House, according to "Sunday Nights At Seven".
Dennis Day was always the naive "silly kid", but in reality he was the same age...two weeks OLDER... than President John F. Kennedy!!
Then again, Jack was pushing seventy: for him, anyone in their forties WOULD be a silly kid. :)
