We would like to inform all Jack Benny fans that the immeasurable comedic talent that was abundant during TV’s golden years will come alive once again at Olivet Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 28, at 7:30 PM, when George Burns and Jack Benny impersonators take center stage. These two lifetime cronies made millions happy listening to them on radio and TV. Their classic comedy timing and “pregnant pauses” will make it a night worth remembering.
Peter Salzer is an experienced actor, comedian, character interpreter and voice-over artist who now lives in the Philadelphia area. As George Burns, he captures the look, style and voice of the beloved comedian.
In the role of the legendary Jack Benny — a comedian who was considered one of the leading entertainers of the 20th century, famous for drawing laughs for his never being older than 39 — is Michael Townsend Wright.
Tickets are just $25, with a generous discount for seniors and children.
Coffee and cookies, and a chance to meet and greet the stars will follow, as will photo and autograph ops with the look-alikes. There are a limited number of $60 VIP tickets which include dinner before the show with the stars. Tickets can be had through the church website, olivetpc.org, or by calling 718-309-7964.
