Animating to OTR

I thought this was a fantastically fun experiment - using a transcription of MY FAVORITE HUSBAND as a voice track for new animation. I'd love to see something like this happen to a Jack Benny Show. Have a gander:

THAT looks like FUN! What if the animation was set in the studio? You know, cartoon people in front of microphones doing the radio show with a band in front of an audience?
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.

Yes, I'd love to see something like that. Obviously not every Jack Benny Show script would work - you can think of the "mental picture" gags that would be spoiled by having any image at all (unless there were some really inventive visual distractions). At any rate I thought the Lucy one was first-rate and had some nice design work (and an animated Frank Nelson to boot!). A really neat idea to bring some new attention to the classic OTR. If you explore further on you tube, the same guy has also done a clip of Portland Hoffa and Tallulah Bankhead on THE BIG SHOW.

That was really good. I'd love to see more. Jack Benny, Fibber & Molly, lotsa shows would be good. I wish I had that kind of talent.

Came across another interesting (earlier) similar experiment on YouTube - an animation done to a recording of "The Bickersons":
