This movie is a pretty painful watch for Jack Benny fans. I wanted the 90 (or whatever) minutes of my life back when I watched the whole thing back when the video first came out.

On the other hand, I am a little more charitable these days on learning more about it. Considering it was a home movie, no-budget, bunch-of-friends thing that got a video deal out of the blue (it was shot on Super 8mm film for heaven's sake), you know, more power to you for even getting ANY kind of movie out of it. If someone actually blew multiple millions of dollars making this, I'd be a little more offended.

That doesn't mean I ever want to watch it again!
