This morning I see a baseball cap on Jack's picture on the opening page of www.jackbenny.org!

The World Series is this week... Boston Red Sox vs. Colorado Rockies.
Hence, Jack is "sporting" the baseball cap.

The Fall Classic is still a major event, though in Jack Benny's day, The World Series meant the same national attention (and partying, I'm sure) as today's Super Bowl... six or seven days, no less! :shock:

And remember, Jack rooted for the Red Sox on his radio show when they played in the World Series. Phil was rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
