Shoelaces Can Be An Expensive Gift

Sending shoelaces (metal tips) to four OTR fans two years ago did not work out the way it should have. Two had to be reminded of why they were getting shoelaces with fancy wrapping. The other two got it right away. This year the two who got the joke immediately a couple of years ago got gopher traps (kills them).

One other friend got shoelaces this year (metal tips again). The packaging and postage was around $10.00.

For that much I should have gone ahead and sent dates or a paint set.

Nice thought, but I wear loafers. However..... I'll take the value of the laces in cash.....
