Need a volunteer

Postby LLeff » Sun Jan 18, 2009 8:42 pm

Hi folks,

I need a volunteer who owns a copy of 39 Forever Second Edition Volumes 1 & 2. I was just reminded that our audio library listing was created by a member seven years ago, well before I published Volume 1. It still has very old errors in it (like the Marx Bros supposedly being guests on the show in 1934, although I just corrected that specific error because someone ordered the show for that reason).

I'd like a volunteer, or two or even more to divide the work, who will go through the listing, recheck the description against 39 Forever, and see if anything needs fixing. There are also some of the old one-liner show descriptions that refer to a single gag buried deep in the show (e.g., "Mary wears Rita Hayworth's dress") that really don't describe the essence of the plot action. So I'm good with improvements on those as well.

Please E-mail me at president@jackbenny.org if you'd like to help. Thanks in advance!

Hi, Laura--
I'm writing a couple of books, but I can take part of either volume, as you wish. Let me know!
