Jack's Fred Allen Eulogy?

Hi all

I read somewhere that one of the many Jack Benny LPs contains his radio eulogy for Fred Allen. Can anyone confirm this? Jack was off the radio by 1956, correct? I'd like to know more about this eulogy... any info would be great!

Yes, it does. I have it somewhere but can't play it now. I think it was done for NBC's "Biography in Sound" after Fred died.

The Radiola 2-LP set, "The Radiola Company Presents The Radio Fight of the Century: Jack Benny vs Fred Allen" (Catalog 2MR-2930, (c) 1974) features Jack's eulogy for Fred.

Thanks Clyde! Yesterday I listened to the whole "Biography in Sound" episode, and was dissapointed that it was not part of the broadcast. I guess I will have to look for copies of the LP!
