WOW, I had this 45 when it came out in 1973!!
My mom got it for me at a K-Mart-like store called GLOBE.
Their slogan was "EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN!"
I remember their record department had a FREE jukebox, where you could punch up and listen to the latest records!

Nope. I Was a Teenaged Disc Jockey (from the movie of the same name) in 1975 and the song had been around for a couple of years by then.
