Was Eddie not ever billed with his own name in radio? I'm assuming that in the black movies he made he was billed as Eddie Anderson. What about in his movies with Jack?

According to IMDB.com up through 1939 he was Eddie Anderson. With the exception of Jack's movie Love Thy Neighbor he was either Rochester or Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson.

It just seems strange that he never had his name used on Jack's show. There was even a special of some sort (don't remember exactly what it was) from the early '60s I think, that someone posted about a year ago. Jack shows up to the event and says that Rochester is sick and won't make it. One would think he'd have referred to him as Eddie since it was realized life and not the show.
