Whatever happened to Harry Baldwin

Harry Baldwin was Jack's secretary and portrayed the bald guy who knocks on the door and says a crazy line then leaves, from about 33'to 43'. He enlisted in the armed forces during WWII, see photo below, then we never heard from him again. Was he killed in action?

There's a picture of him in the book "Jack Benny : The Radio And Television Work" by "the Museum Of Television And Radio".
