A Benny trivia question

Postby helloagain » Fri Jul 31, 2009 10:44 am

I know the answer to this because I just heard it, but I would like to tap the keen minds of all you Benny fans. What was the name of the man from Calabasas? I mean the character, not Sam Hearn, the actor. I offer no prize, but the winner can imagine one glorious day in Anaheim, Azuza or Cucamonga.
"Hey, Jackson, does Fred Allen always talk through his nose?"

"Yes, Phil. He's the only comedian who tells 'em and smells 'em at the same time!"

Oh, fans...COME NOW!! I can't believe I stumped you. I was certain that at least one brilliant mind would know this. Maybe if I offered a prize...hmm...NAH! I'll give you a couple more days, then it's back to Calabasas for me.

It has taken about two weeks to get a chance to reply to this. I was sure somebody would have answered it by now. Here he is with a wet paintbrush... Mr. Hawkins
Cucamonga here I come.
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.

Maybe Benny fans everywhere are straining under an increased workload like Fearless Leader LL? I'm glad Shimp put Where's Jack on hiatus because I'd have missed all the fun.
