Happy Birthday to...

Gurney Bell (December 14, 1912) and Marty Sperzel (December 15, 1912) of The Sportsmen Quartet. Mr. Bell passed away in September 1976 while at last check Mr. Sperzel was still with us living in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Wait a minute, fellas....wait a minute......fellas.....wait a minute....fellas....fellas.......WAIT A MINUTE!!!

WOW! Marty's been around a long time. Won't be much longer till they're all gone. Not just Jack's cast, but all radio folks. I wish I could've know them, but at least I can listen to them whenever I want. That's pretty cool.
