I was listening to an interview with Johnny Cash on NPR, when he started talking about how his voice was much higher when he was young. He said he would listen to the Jack Benny show, and for the next week be trying to sing like Dennis Day. It was obvious that he had a deep admiration for Dennis. He talked about what a beautiful voice Dennis had.

Talk about an unlikely inspiration! Fascinating. I bet a Johnny Cash cover of "Clancy Lowered the Boom" would be pretty good!

Not to mention a Dennis Day cover of "Folsom Prison Blues".

How about a Dennis and Mary duet on "Jackson"?
Hmmm... I suppose Phil would have to jump in with special lyrics such as
"We all work for Jackson..."
