Eddie Anderson was on (along with Jack) in a Very funny episode of Amos & Andy dated 11/10/44

I also know that Eddie Anderson did a turn on the Bill Stern Colgate Sports Newsreel too

I think that it's interesting to hear Eddie Anderson appear as "Rochester" with OTHER comedians who basically do Jack's "straight man" part....

Eddie appeared with Fred Allen in a wartime "Mail Call" show and with Bob Hope on "Radio's Biggest Show", a 1946 hour-long variety special for Walgreen's Drugstores. Both appearances had Rochester talking on the phone with the comedians, and both Fred Allen and Bob Hope were basically doing the "Jack Benny" part on the other end of the phone line....but it's strange.....somehow it doesn't feel right, and it seems like something's missing, when Eddie does a "Rochester" routine with a comedian other than Jack. Jack and Eddie just had a certain chemistry together!

I have a show called "Don't Turn That Dial...The Don Wilson Story," and it has samples of Don announcing a number of other shows. From what I can tell, he was constantly announcing for other shows. Sometimes up to a half dozen other shows at the same time. I can see why, his voice was marvelous for announcing and it had a unique warmth and friendliness to it that few others could hope to achieve.

I've heard Don Wilson announce for Kenny Baker's "Glamor Manor" show, as well as the half-hour sitcom version of "Baby Snooks". Don also announced for a comedy series starring Alan Young around 1949. I haven't heard any of the Alan Young shows with Don, but on Jack's show Jack discusses this with Don...and Don says, "I like working that other job because now one of my bosses is YOUNG!", and he bursts into hearty Don Wilson-style laughter, while Jack is quite insulted!

Don on other shows

I've also heard Don announce for a short-lived series called "Music by Gershwin", which featured George Gershwin himself talking about and performing his own music.
