Frances Bartlett Kinne

I work at Amazon and a couple days ago I happened to pull a book out of a bin, and lo and behold there was Jack, along with Bob Hope each kissing Frances Bartlett Kinne on the cheek. I'd never heard of her but she was the first female president of a Florida university, among other things. Apparently she and Bob were close friends. He wrote one of three forewards in her autobiography, the other two being written by Winston S. Churchill and Charlton Heston.
For some reason I had trouble attaching a picture but I'll link to a website talking about her and including a picture of the three together that appears to have been taken at the same time as the cover photo on the book as it's quite similar.
