Does anybody know who the actor was who played Fred Allen? I must say he sounded remarkably like Fred!
Any ideas?

Peter Lind Hayes (who also played Allen on several other occasions).
BTW, time to make a plug for my book, 39 Forever. It has all this sort of information in it, with complete cast lists, song lists, detailed plot summaries, trivia, etc.
