on today's episode, Jack is in Cleveland, Ohio. the guest was baseball player Bob Feller. the show is okay but near the end thunderous applause ring out and a surprise cameo by Bob Hope is underway. Naturally, the show turns into Bob's standard rapid fire one liners...leaving Jack and the guest lost in the chaotic laughter. the closing music is the only thing that silences the hollaring and yelling...the scene returns with Jack humming to himself before quietly saying "goodnight, folks". the NPR station here airs Jack every Monday evening at 6:30pm.
