Hi all - happy 2018!

This is a book that was recently published, I haven't read it yet but I'm very excited to:

Anyone read it yet? Some of the reviews look like they may have come from members here :D I'm always happy to see Jack Benny back in the spotlight!

So I read this not too long ago and meant to follow up - first thing I noticed when I read the acknowledgements at the beginning of the book was that the author specifically thanks Laura and the members here, which was lovely to see!

Rather than a straight biography of JB, the book deep dives into specific areas like Jack's relationship with his sponsors, his writer Harry Conn (one word: yikes), and "Rochester" and Eddie Anderson in the context of a country that was very slowly recognizing civil rights. Even if you are a JB expert (and I assume most here are!) there is quite a lot to learn from this book.
