Gahh! Found it.

I have to answer my own question.. Ask any old fart if they know the tune and they all look at you like your as dopey as Dennis Day.

This gem was a Mahlon Merrick arrangement of the song, "I've Got The Sun In The Morning", from the smash musical of 1946 which ran for years, Annie Get Your Gun.
