Plenty Of Jack On Radio In The Near Future!

I wanted to let you know that starting tonight (August 3rd), Toronto's CFZM will carry Jack Benny on it's weeknight "Theatre Of The Mind" from 10:30- to 11 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time.

Usually, CFZM will run a show for two weeks in a row, so it's likely they'll feature Jack not only this week (August 3rd-7th), but next week (August 10th-14th) as well.

CFZM is a 50,000-watt station at 740 on the AM dial which at night can be heard across most of the Eastern United States and Canada; beyond that area, you can go to http://www.zoomerradio.ca at 10:30 P.M. Eastern time, click-on "Listen Live", and enjoy!

Additionally, the syndicated "When Radio Was" will feature Jack next Monday (August 10th) and Tuesday (August 11th), when they will run (split into two parts) Jack's spoof of "Charley's Aunt" with guest star Dorothy Kirsten, originally broadcast in September, 1948.

While nationally syndicated, the best bet for hearing "When Radio Was" is Chicago's WBBM (780 on the AM dial), where you can hear Part 1 on August 11th at about 1:40 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (late the night of August 10th), which is also 12:40 A.M.; Central. The conclusion will air on August 12th at 1:05 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (late the night of August 11th), which is also 12:05 A.M. Central.

Usual disclaimer: I don't work for either CFZM of "When Radio Was", but I wanted to share the news.
