Jack On "When Radio Was" Monday, December 29th

Here's a heads-up that "When Radio Was" will rebroadcast the 1939 New Year's Eve episode of "The Jack Benny Program" this coming Monday, December 29th.

"When Radio Was" is broadcast on numerous stations across the country, however, the best bet may be WBBM in Chicago (780 on the AM dial), which will carry the show on December 30th at 1:05 A.M. Eastern time (12:05 A.M. Central time), which translates to late in the evening of December 29th.

WBBM is a 50,000-watt station whose nighttime signal covers the eastern two-thirds of the United States and much of eastern and central Canada.

The program will be available as a podcast on the When Radio Was website (http://www.whenradiowas.com ) between December 30th and January 4th.
