As you may know, Hamilton, Ontario's CHML-AM rebroadcasts old-time radio shows nightly from 10:05 P.M. to 1 A.M. Eastern Time.
While CHML is a 50,000-watt station at 900 on the AM dial, it's nighttime signal is very directional. You pretty much have to live within a triangle bordered by Hamilton, Boston, and Philadelphia in order to hear it at night.
But for Jack Benny fans outside this area, all is not lost.
Not only does CHML stream their programming live on the website, but they also archive their programming on their website for ten days after it is aired live.
You can go to http://www.chml900.com/audio , and select any date and hour (again, Eastern Time) from the past ten days. By clicking-on a date that was a Sunday and 10 P.M., you'll first get a five-minute Canadian Press newscast and than Jack comes on.
This is a very easy way to hear Jack on-demand.
Disclaimer: I don't work for CHML nor know anyone who does. But, I wanted to share this information with you because it's one place (along with http://www.archive.org) to hear Jack on-demand over the Internet.
