Given that April 15th is the U.S. income tax deadline, it's perhaps no surprise that "When Radio Was" will observe that day with the classic 1951 Jack Benny episode "A Visit From The IRS".
It will be split into two parts and air on April 14th and 15th.
"When Radio Was" is heard on numerous radio stations around the country; however, the best bet in much of North America to hear it is Chicago's 50,000-watt WBBM (780 on the AM dial).
If you plan to tune-in WBBM, Part One will be heard on Tuesday morning April 15th (late Monday night the 14th), at approximately 1:40 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (about 12:40 A.M. Central Daylight Time), while the conclusion can be heard on Wednesday morning (late Tuesday night the 15th) at 1:05 A.M. EDT (12:05 A.M. CDT).
The programs will be archived for audio streaming on the "When Radio Was" website (http://www.whenradiowas.com) for a week after they air.
Usual disclaimer: I don't work for WBBM or "When Radio Was", but I saw the information on their website and wanted to share it with you.
