Just wanted to give you all a "heads-up" that "When Radio Was" this coming week will rebroadcast the October 10th, 1938 episode titled "Algiers" this coming week.
The show is being split-up into two parts, as "When Radio Was" sometimes does with half-hour shows. The first part will be rebroadcast this Monday (September 23rd); the conclusion will be rebroadcast on Tuesday (September 24th).
In the Eastern two-thirds of the country, the best way to hear the show is via Chicago's powerful 50,000-watt WBBM, 780 on the AM dial. The first installment will be heard on Tuesday, September 24th at about 1:40 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (about 12:40 A.M. Chicago time, actually very late Monday night); the conclusion will be heard at 1:05 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday, September 25th (12:05 A.M. Chicago time, actually very late Tuesday night).
The show is also heard on many other stations nationwide.
I don't work for "When Radio Was", but I saw the info on their website and wanted to spread the news.
