First of all, I'd like to note that this Monday through Thursday (August 12th through 15th), Toronto's CFZM will broadcast four episodes of "The Jack Benny Program" from 10:30 to 11 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time each evening.
CFZM is a powerful 50-kilowatt station whose nighttime signal can be heard across much of the Eastern portions of the United States and Canada; beyond that area, you can go to http://www.am740.ca or http://www.zoomerradio.ca at the appropriate time, click-on the "Listen Live" link, and enjoy!
Additionally, "When Radio Was" will feature a 1941 Jack Benny show with baseball legend Leo Durocher as guest star. "When Radio Was" is heard on dozens of radio stations around the country.
You can go to http://www.whenradiowas.com and find a section where you can pick a state and find out what stations carry the show in that state, and when. For about a week after the show is broadcast, you can find it as a podcast on their website.
As usual, this disclaimer: I don't work for either "When Radio Was" or CFZM, but I did want to let everyone know about some great Jack Benny shows being heard this week.
