Jack On "When Radio Was" This Monday (December 3rd)

Besides the usual Sunday-night rebroadcasts (10:05 P.M. Eastern time) of Jack over Hamilton Ontario's CHML, there's another chance to hear Jack on radio this coming week.

This coming Monday (December 3rd), "When Radio Was" will rebroadcast jack's December 5th, 1954 episode when he tries to buy pants for announcer/sidekick Don Wilson as a Christmas present.

"When Radio Was" is nationally syndicated on numerous stations at various times; however, for most people in the Eastern and Central portions of the United States and Canada, the best bet would be to hear it on Chicago's 50,000-watt WBBM (780 on your AM dial), where it will be heard Tuesday, December 4th at 1:05 A.M. Eastern time (12:05 A.M. Central time and late on the evening of December 3rd in areas further west).

Speaking about Jack Benny Christmas shows, Toronto's CFZM (740 on the AM dial, whose nighttime signal can be heard across most of the Eastern portions of Canada and the United States) will be broadcasting three weeks' worth of classic Christmas radio shows from 10 to 11 P.M. Eastern time beginning this Monday night, December 3rd. Although no Jack Benny Christmas shows will be heard there this week, I would expect that there will be at least a couple of Jack Benny Christmas episodes rebroadcast by CFZM sometime between December 10th and Christmas.
