Jack Benny & Fred Allen On "When Radio Was" Monday, May 28th

Next Monday (May 28th), "When Radio Was" will rebroadcast the "Jack Benny Program" episode originally aired October 1st, 1944.

The guest is Jack's friendly enemy, Fred Allen.

For those who haven't heard any (or many) shows where Jack and Fred appeared together, this promises to be a laugh riot.

While "When Radio Was" is nationally syndicated, the best bet for many people in the Central and Eastern United States (and Central and Eastern Canada) to hear the show is through Chicago's 50,000-watt WBBM-AM, 780 on the dial. The show will air there at 1:05 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time May 29th (late the evening of May 28th).

I don't work for either WBBM or "When Radio Was", but I wanted to give you a heads-up of a great Jack Benny show. Having not heard very many Fred Allen appearances on Jack Benny (or vice-versa), I'm looking forward to this one!
