Just Plain Bill

I've heard the episodes many times where Jack goes to buy a new car and shops at a dealer named Just Plain Bill. Until now, I wasn't aware that that was the name of an old-time soap opera, apparently about a barber and his daughter, according to Wikipedia. I guess that's a double joke. I just thought it was meant to be funny because he wasn't a smiling Irishman or Madman Muntz. Learn something new every day I guess.
