The syndicated show "When Radio Was", which is heard on numerous radio stations around the country, will be broadcasting a Jack Benny Thanksgiving episode. On most stations, it can be heard this coming Monday (November 21st).
For most people in the eastern two-thirds of the United States and Canada, the best place to listen on-air is WBBM Chicago (780 on the AM radio dial). WBBM runs "When Radio Was" weeknights at 1:05 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (12:05 A.M. Central).
WBBM has a powerful 50,000-watt signal that can be heard at night across a wide portion of both the United States and eastern Canada (For those who don't know, WBBM is an all-news station for the other 23 hours of the day and also carries Chicago Bears football games).
I suspect that the episode will actually air at 1:05 A.M. EST on Tuesday morning.
You can go to http://www.whenradiowas.com and access, state-by-state, a list of other stations and broadcast times.
WBBM streams it's programming at http://chicago.cbslocal.com , however, I don't know if "When Radio Was" is part of their streaming.
