SCTV reference to Jack

Apologies if this is noted elsewhere. One of my daughters showed me this 11/26/1982 SCTV send-up of Jane Eyre. The "Rochester" character is played with a familiar voice. Stay with the video even if you don't know the original plot because it transitions from a Stone Cold Jane Austen send up to (what seems to me) a fond recollection of our little star and his gang.

Austen fans might even want to watch part 1.
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.

You really had to keep up to catch everything in those SCTV skits. References could be obscure, but they kept the viewer thinking.
