"When Radio Was" will rebroadcast a Jack Benny episode where he takes a date to a French restaurant this coming week.
As "When Radio Was" sometimes does, the episode will be split into two parts. The first part is this Monday the 14th; the conclusion will be Tuesday the 15th. I wonder if the airdate of July 14th-15th for the episode about a French Restaurant was intentional to tie-in with Bastille Day, France's major national Holiday (which is the 14th).
While it's a nationally-syndicated program, the best bet for most people in the Eastern and Central United States will be to tune-in on Chicago's WBBM, 780 on the AM dial and a 50,000-watt station with a powerful nighttime signal that covers the eastern two-thirds of the U.S. and Canada.
On WBBM, part one will air late Monday night (early Tuesday morning) at about 1:40 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (12:40 A.M. Central), while the conclusion will be heard late Tuesday night (early Wednesday morning) at 1:05 A.M. EDT (12:05 A.M. CDT).
Usual Disclaimer: I don't work for either "When Radio Was" or for WBBM, but I found this information on the "When Radio Was" website and wanted to let you all know.
