Jack Benny Happy Hour

So...what's a Jack Benny Happy Hour and what distinguishes it from a monthly chat?  Glad you asked...

With the current world situation dealing with COVID-19, many of us are looking for escape and connection.  Happily, loving Jack is a great way to find both!  So we're going to try having a more informal gathering on Sundays at 8PM Eastern, 5PM Pacific in the chat room when we don't have a chat scheduled.  So what's the difference?

A chat:

• Is generally hosted by me (Laura Leibowitz)

• Has a show for everyone to listen to/watch together

• Is focused around Jack Benny discussion.

A happy hour:

• Is more informal, may be hosted by me or a designee, or may just be unhosted (depending on my own commitments)

• May or may not have a show to listen to/watch together

• Is more free-flowing conversation...Jack is our common bond, but as long as we all stay respectful, we can talk about anything on our minds.  The only thing off-limits is being disrespectful, unkind, or rude.  And Jack Benny fans hardly ever do that, right?
