New Eddie Carroll DVDs available

When Eddie Carroll passed away, a lot of people commented to me that they had been sorry that they could not have seen him perform.  Now I am happy to say that there are two DVDs available which can help you enjoy and remember Eddie:

• Jack Benny:  Laughter in Bloom- It's here!  At long last!  The complete video of Eddie's one-man performance as Jack Benny.  If you never saw it, or saw it many times and loved it, you've got to have this DVD in your collection.  Buy it here.
  

• Cincinnati Eddie Carroll Interview - Bob Burchett is raising money for the Cincinnati Old Time Radio Nostalgia Convention by selling a DVD of an hour and a half interview with Eddie Carroll from the April 25, 2009 convention.  You can get your copy for a donation of $15 by contacting Bob at 10280 Gunpowder Road, Florence, KY 41042.
  

• Eddie Carroll:  A Life in Bloom - When we knew the end was near, Carolyn told me that she was going to have a life celebration for Eddie about 4-6 weeks afterwards.  She asked me to name it.  It didn't take me long to come up with "A Life in Bloom".  This is a DVD of that celebration, and features a host of celebrities and friends, including Jamie Farr, Tom Kennedy, Wink Martindale, Peter Marshall, and many more.  Plus, it includes a number of clips of Eddie performing.  And oh yeah, I'm in there too.  So is "Brad from Georgia" for Forum frequenters.  This disc is available through the IJBFC video library.
  

• Eddie Carroll at Friends of Old Time Radio Convention 2007 -You can also pick up AE-16 and AE-17 from the Friends of Old Time Radio Convention 2007 to see Eddie performing as Jack in a recreation of the program where he gives 50 cents to a panhandler.
