[4:59 PM] Steve Archer: Hey there Kathy, Chasia
[4:59 PM] Chasia: Hi Kathy and Steve!
[4:59 PM] Chasia: How's it going?
[5:00 PM] Steve Archer: Doing well!
[5:00 PM] Steve Archer: I think this is our first 90+
degree day of the summer here in Maryland.
[5:00 PM] Steve Archer: How are you?
[5:01 PM] Chasia: Oh wow, that is hot! I'm doing pretty
good
[5:01 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Hi folks!
[5:01 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I'll be back in a few...more
people asked for access last minute.
[5:02 PM] Steve Archer: This is my first summer back on the
east coast after several years in Seattle - I'm reacquainting with the good -
sunshine and fireflies - and the not so good - ticks and mosquitoes!
[5:02 PM] Steve Archer: Hi Laura, Perri
[5:02 PM] Perri: Hi, everyone!
[5:02 PM] R.Hookie: Hi folks!
[5:02 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: yikes. Steve, I am sorry
about the heat! I am headed to DC next weekend for the AFI documentary festival.
Texas does 100 better than Maryland!
[5:02 PM] Perri: I'm coming down with a cold, may not last
but didn't want to miss it!
[5:02 PM] Steve Archer: Hi Hookie
[5:02 PM] R.Hookie: HI Steve
[5:02 PM] Chasia: Hi, Laura, Perri, Hookie!
[5:03 PM] R.Hookie: Hi Chasia
[5:03 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Hello everybody, I have the
Tony awards on in the background. I think Jack would have done these as well as
he did the Oscars
[5:03 PM] HipChat: Hi @TomVorce! Welcome to Hipchat. You
can @-mention me by typing @HipChat and I'll tell you what HipChat can do!
[5:03 PM] Steve Archer: Yes, somehow the heat just seems
more suitable in the southwest and TX.
[5:04 PM] Steve Archer: Hi Tom
[5:04 PM] Steve Archer: and Karl and Joyce!
[5:04 PM] R.Hookie: I have The Jeffersons on but muted
[5:04 PM] Steve Archer: Full house tonight
[5:04 PM] Chasia: Lots of folks! so lovely!
[5:04 PM] Steve Archer: They're movin' on up to the
mmmfphhfpfhh.
[5:04 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: all good choices!
[5:04 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Karl! You made it!
[5:05 PM] Steve Archer: I just have the fan on!
[5:06 PM] HipChat: Hi @FloydRiggle! Welcome to Hipchat. You
can @-mention me by typing @HipChat and I'll tell you what HipChat can do!
[5:06 PM] Steve Archer: Hi Floyd
[5:06 PM] Laura Leibowitz: OK...even more folks...
[5:06 PM] Karl Tiedemann: Yes, just. Hello....
[5:06 PM] Floyd Riggle: HI Everyone
[5:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: There are so many amazing people
in this room. I'm privileged to know you all!
[5:07 PM] Floyd Riggle: :)
[5:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: OK...let's give it a few more
minutes and we'll start the show.
[5:07 PM] R.Hookie: Well, thank you very kindly, Laura
[5:07 PM] Steve Archer: Awwww... once you get the witness
subpoena you might rethink that Laura.
[5:07 PM] Perri: Wonderful of YOU to bring us together!
[5:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Steve - ;)
[5:07 PM] Chasia: We have you to thank, Laura!
[5:08 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Well, we all have Jack to
thank. He's really the reason we're together!
[5:08 PM] Floyd Riggle: Very True.
[5:08 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Is everyone in the
US? I think so...
[5:09 PM] R.Hookie: You know I am
[5:09 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Texas thinks its better than
the rest of the US, haha
[5:09 PM] Chasia: I'm in US's hat, Canada. Close enough. :)
[5:09 PM] R.Hookie: Wouldn't Alaska be bigger?
[5:10 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Kathy - Same thing for CA.
[5:10 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: well, the Bennyverse is
universal : )
[5:10 PM] Laura Leibowitz: OK...I'm going to give you some
hints on which show this is, and see how fast you can guess it.
[5:10 PM] Floyd Riggle: I'm in Chino HIlls,
CA. That is less than 20 minutes from Anaheim, Azusa, or Cucomonga
(Really)
[5:10 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Kathy - Amen, sistah!
[5:10 PM] Steve Archer: Oooh a challenge
[5:11 PM] Steve Archer: Do you ever ride that train Floyd?
[5:11 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Does anyone have a guess based
on what I said in the announcement?
[5:11 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: is it animal, vegetable or a
mineral show?
[5:11 PM] Steve Archer: Is it bigger than a breadbox
[5:11 PM] Floyd Riggle: I do, I do and have from Union
Station. Each time I'm there I think of the old JB shows for the
trips.
[5:11 PM] R.Hookie: I need to step away for a moment....
[5:11 PM] Joyce Latz: You indicated none of us had seen
this show.
[5:11 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Clue 1 - Right...you almost
certainly haven't seen it.
[5:11 PM] Brad Strickland: Hi, everyone.
[5:12 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Hey Brad!
[5:12 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Clue 2 - It has a guest star.
[5:12 PM] Steve Archer: Hmmm. You also said
there is a backstory.
[5:12 PM] Steve Archer: Is this the Charlie Chan lawsuit
one?
[5:12 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: is it the long lost Dragnet
show?
[5:12 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Clue 3 - It...there ya go...it
had some
[5:12 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Steve's got it!
[5:12 PM] Steve Archer: YES!
[5:12 PM] Brad Strickland: I'm a little late--we were
throwing a birthday party for our soon-to-be three-year-old granddaughter.
[5:12 PM] Chasia: Ooooh
[5:12 PM] Chasia: hi Brad!
[5:12 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: gosh, Fred Allen ripped off
Charlie Chan so often...
[5:12 PM] Floyd Riggle: There was a law suit episode ?
[5:12 PM] Brad Strickland: Hi, Chasia.
[5:12 PM] Laura Leibowitz: OK, so without further ado...
[5:12 PM] Steve Archer: I'm a big Charlie Chan fan so this
will be fun.

this time!

[5:43 PM] HipChat: Hi @SteveW! Welcome to Hipchat. You can
@-mention me by typing @HipChat and I'll tell you what HipChat can do!
[5:47 PM] Brad Strickland: I'm back!
[5:47 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: thank so much Laura for the
chance to see this crazy episode!!!!
[5:47 PM] Brad Strickland: Nice that the connection worked
for me this time.
[5:47 PM] R.Hookie: That was fun... and a little ---
[5:47 PM] Chasia: That was an experience
[5:47 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Brad - Yes, same for me as well.
[5:48 PM] Beverly Bennett: Thank you!
[5:48 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Jack Webb is a major TV
figure, great to see them together
[5:48 PM] Brad Strickland: I'm surprised Mrs. Earl Derr
Biggers didn't sue....
[5:48 PM] Laura Leibowitz: The yellow-face humor is a
little cringe-worthy.
[5:48 PM] Steve Archer: Nice to finally see this one
Laura! Thanks!
[5:48 PM] R.Hookie: I was wondering why George Gobel was
pooped up out of nowhere
[5:48 PM] Chasia: It wasn't as offensive as it could have
been. I was expecting the worst but it wasn't too...out there.
[5:48 PM] Steve Archer: Well, not the funniest script for a
number of reasons.
[5:48 PM] Laura Leibowitz: It's nice to have a forum where
I can share some of these shows that I have but can't officially release yet.
[5:48 PM] R.Hookie: "popped"
[5:48 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: I think you can see that
uneasiness with the old Charlie Chan formula in the show - Jack doesn't do the
full CC that Fred Allen did
[5:48 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Hookie - LOL
[5:49 PM] Brad Strickland: Yeh, times have changed. And yet
. . . the Japanese protagonist of "Ghost in the Shell" was recently
played by a Caucasian actress.
[5:49 PM] Chasia: That movie did not do well, I feel bad
for Asian actors still struggling to get leading roles in media.
[5:49 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Actually, the estate of Edward
Albee just revoked permission to "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" when
they cast an African-American in the George Segal role.
[5:49 PM] Brad Strickland: Too bad, because the anime
series is very thought-provoking.
[5:50 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: great attempt of show corss-promoting
with George Gobel, that had been SO VERBOTEN when sponsors had total control of
shows. This shows something of the transitional period to network control
[5:50 PM] Chasia: No kidding? That is interesting, Laura. I
had no idea
[5:50 PM] Chasia: Brad, agreed! Great show
[5:50 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: THANK YOU SO MUCH, Laura!!!
Very rare chances to see this material!
[5:50 PM] Brad Strickland: Weird, the Albee news!
[5:50 PM] Laura Leibowitz: My pleasure!
[5:51 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Karl - I'd forgotten that Gobel
was in that!
[5:51 PM] Brad Strickland: I'm impressed by how colorblind
Shakespeare productions have become. Interracial Romeos and Juliets are a dime a
dozen.
[5:51 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Lux worked so hard to make those
middle commercials work.
[5:51 PM] R.Hookie: I'd love to watch it again... all the
way through... in one piece.
[5:51 PM] Chasia: Is there an official reason this episode
has gotten kind of lost in the vault, or is it just something that happened
[5:51 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Yeah, my
apologies. I'm not sure what was going on with that.
[5:51 PM] Brad Strickland: Gee, now Gobel's catch phrase is
coming back to me: "You can't hardly find them kind, no more."
[5:51 PM] Steve Archer: The "Jack and Guest Star"
shows are sometimes a hard sell, particularly when the guest isn't particularly
known for comedy.
[5:51 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Lux had years and years of
"all the greatest stars of Hollywood"; its fun to see Suzy Parker try
to act
[5:52 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Well, since it was
"recorded live" you can see that the quality isn't there.
[5:52 PM] Laura Leibowitz: So it was never in the
syndication package.
[5:52 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: but we could edit it down to
15 minutes of GREAT
[5:52 PM] R.Hookie: Was it a kinescope?
[5:52 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I'm pretty sure it was.
[5:53 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Pretty late kinescope in 59.
[5:53 PM] R.Hookie: They weren't that bad of quality
[5:53 PM] Brad Strickland: I wonder if there are outtakes
of Webb breaking up as Friday in "Dragnet"
[5:53 PM] Floyd Riggle: I always like seeing the old
Kinneoscope versions of LIVE shows.
[5:53 PM] R.Hookie: Me too
[5:53 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Yeah, I've never had a major
problem with them except some of the super early ones.
[5:53 PM] Chasia: Webb looked like he was having fun, which
helped the episode. Jack himself seemed kind of off... Not sure if he wasn't
into this particular script (doesn't sound like him) or just wasn't feeling well
[5:53 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Trying to adapt the Margaret
Truman joke...
[5:54 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: doh!!! Beverly Washburn
would laugh at the attempt to redo her part
[5:54 PM] Laura Leibowitz: It's really fun to see Webb
trying to do comedy.
[5:54 PM] Floyd Riggle: Now that one - I guess Jack was
doing them in California then? Assumed due to Jack Webb being
there.
I always thought those LIVE shows were from NYC and earlier
in the 50's.
[5:54 PM] Brad Strickland: By contrast, I thought the show
in which Raymond Burr played Jack's lawyer was brilliant.
[5:54 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Or generally out of the Sgt.
Friday character.
[5:54 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: is there a biography of Jack
Webb out there? My college English Professor worked with him in the radio days
[5:54 PM] Tom Vorce: Jackbennykubelsky

Laura Leibowitz·May-7 6:56 PM
She was phenomenal.
Quick question.
Assuming NBC doesn't have other plans, do folks like the
longer format or is a TV show better?
R.Hookie·May-7 6:57 PM
So, now what?
Steve Archer·May-7 6:57 PM
Oh, either, we can alternate.
Laura Leibowitz·May-7 6:57 PM
OK.
Chasia·May-7 6:57 PM
alternating sounds fun
Steve Archer·May-7 6:57 PM
It's all good!
Good night all
Laura Leibowitz·May-7 6:57 PM
Any comments on the movie, or requests for next time?

Night Steve!
R.Hookie·May-7 6:57 PM
Good night Steve
Chasia·May-7 6:57 PM
This was really fun to watch, I hadn't seen the movie in
one sitting before. I tend to watch flicks in 10 or 15 minute increments
Perri·May-7 6:57 PM
Alternating sounds good to me, too
Good night!
Laura Leibowitz·May-7 6:58 PM
OK. Thanks for stopping, folks!

Thanks for hosting, Laura!

Yes, somehow the heat just seems more suitable in the
southwest and TX.
I enjoyed the show. Thanks for letting us see
this "lost" episode, Laura.
[5:55 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd - Most are
[5:55 PM] Floyd Riggle: Come to think of it - Jack was
still doing every other week so that had to be 56-57
[5:55 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Brad - Agreed.
[5:55 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Go for it Tom
[5:56 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd - Yes, this was shot in
CBS at Beverly and Fairfax.
[5:56 PM] Tom Vorce: Thanks for letting us see this
"lost" episode, Laura.
[5:56 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: yes, thank you so much,
Laura!
[5:56 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Absolutely. I
really enjoy being able to share these in the chats!
[5:56 PM] R.Hookie: In old Studio 33 I'm guessing
[5:56 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I have a limited supply of them,
but will do what I can.
[5:57 PM] Brad Strickland: Kathy: Just the Facts, Ma'Am:
The Authorized Biography of Jack Webb Paperback – April, 2001
by Daniel Moyer (Author), Ph.D. Alvarez Eugene
(Author)
[5:57 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Hookie - Possibly...they flipped
back and forth between 33 and...what, 35?
[5:57 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: yay, thanks Brad, I will
check that out!
[5:57 PM] Brad Strickland: Not...39?
[5:57 PM] Brad Strickland: My pleasure, Kathy!
[5:57 PM] Laura Leibowitz: So what else Benny-wise is on
everyone's mind this evening?
[5:57 PM] Laura Leibowitz:
Questions? Observations?
[5:58 PM] Floyd Riggle: Brad the Raymond Burr one was
great. I've looked for another one - Perry Mason was on Saturday
nights in the 50's up though 60. One Saturday night Jack did a
special and too the first hour on CBS pre-empting Perry Mason. Jack
started his special, Burr comes out and tells him its his hour the curtain goes
up and the trial starts. I recall that (as a kid _ as a live show.
[5:58 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I just got a story from someone
about trying to help Jack find a trout. That's all I'll say.
[5:58 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: a small head's up, I will
have an article about Jack
[5:58 PM] R.Hookie: Les Nessman was having some Benny-like
actions on a WKRP I was watching
[5:58 PM] Chasia: a trout, eh lol
[5:58 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Great!!!
[5:58 PM] Steve Archer: Not a tout Laura?
[5:58 PM] Chasia: trout tout
[5:58 PM] Brad Strickland: Psst, bud. C'mere. You lookin'
for a trout?
[5:59 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Pick a rainbow...
[5:59 PM] Brad Strickland: I pick Randy Rainbow.
[5:59 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: crud Jack's
early radio days in "Humanities", the magazine of the National
Endowment for the Humanities, this summer. Will send the link
[5:59 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Thumbs up to that
[5:59 PM] Floyd Riggle: Laura - just watched the CBS
Tribute to Jack Benny (3 days after Jacks death - day of
funeral). That was a great 1 hour special and remember seeing it in
1974.
[5:59 PM] Brad Strickland: Congrats, Kathy!
[5:59 PM] Steve Archer: Uh-uh. That one's got
a steel head.
[5:59 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd - Yes, that's a great
tribute pulled together so quickly.
[5:59 PM] Chasia: Been thinking about the Jack Benny/Batman
comics since news of Adam West's death broke - that crossover was fun
[5:59 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: yay, its all to the good
[5:59 PM] Chasia: oh, congrats, kathy!
[5:59 PM] Laura Leibowitz: It's heartbreaking to see
Rochester on it.
[6:00 PM] Floyd Riggle: I still am in awe on the
detail/structure in just those few days.
[6:00 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Chasia - You should see the
whole thing. The story goes on and on and on.
[6:00 PM] Chasia: I can imagine!
[6:00 PM] Brad Strickland: That was in the years before we
had a VCR. They may not even have existed then for home use, I don't remember.
But I recorded the audio on a cassette tape.
[6:01 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I asked for permission to
reprint it in the newsletter, but they refused.
[6:01 PM] Floyd Riggle: Laura I know - I saw the replay of
the tribute to Jack by Carson, Burns and Hope.
Had no idea until then about Eddie's
strokes. But there in that tribute after jacks death you can really
tell.
[6:01 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd -
Exactly. Someone's working on an Eddie Anderson project and I
pointed them at that.
[6:01 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Eddie had a difficult time
in the 1960s
[6:01 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Although the Love American Style
was fun to see.
[6:02 PM] Floyd Riggle: That will be a great project - I
hope they do it and I see it.
[6:02 PM] Chasia: Is there a place we can buy those comics?
[6:02 PM] Chasia: Or is it out of print
[6:02 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Chasia - I'm pretty sure it's
out of print. But drop me a line separately and I'll see if I can
hook you up.
[6:02 PM] Chasia: Thanks Laura, I will!
[6:03 PM] Laura Leibowitz: What other Benny
thoughts? Or requests for a show for next time?
[6:03 PM] Floyd Riggle: I did run across a BLOOPER real
(Audio for Radio) on YOUTUBE from the Benny Years. Eddie is in a
lot of them - He was just so wonderful
[6:03 PM] Laura Leibowitz: How cool!
[6:03 PM] Chasia: Do you have the link, Floyd?
[6:03 PM] Floyd Riggle: Audio or Video? If
Audio I'd love to hear THE HORN BLOWS AT MIDNIGHT (Ford Theatre).
[6:03 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I've known people have talked
about assembling them, but I don't think I'd ever seen that come to fruition.
[6:04 PM] Brad Strickland: Not Benny-related, but today at
our granddaughter's third birthday party, our daughter announced that she's
going to have a little brother or sister come December....
[6:04 PM] Floyd Riggle: Chasia HOld On let me find it.
[6:04 PM] Chasia: Congrats, Brad!
[6:04 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Mazel tov, Brad!
[6:04 PM] R.Hookie: That's nice Brad
[6:04 PM] Brad Strickland: Actually, I was a little miffed
because Barbara has known about this for weeks. Me, I'm left out.
[6:04 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: would you all maybe like to
have a show or two from the early days (1932-35) that was not recorded and we
could think about the way the advertising and show are put together?
[6:04 PM] Floyd Riggle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S80glmID-SA
[6:04 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Girl talk, Dink.
[6:04 PM] Steve Archer: Congrats Brad!
[6:05 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: congratulations, Brad!!!
[6:05 PM] Chasia: Thanks, Floyd!
[6:05 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Kathy - Are you saying that as a
recreation, or just the script?
[6:05 PM] Brad Strickland: Hey, I had very little to do
with it, but thanks! We're looking forward to the new arrival now.
[6:05 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: well we could start with the
script and play with it?
[6:06 PM] Brad Strickland: Kathy--have you talked to anyone
at the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company about the idea?
[6:06 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Hmmm...let's talk logistics off
line. I'm open to it, just want to make sure we have a good, solid
approach.
[6:06 PM] Floyd Riggle: It has my favorite one where Eddie
gets tongue tied. Instead of saying something like "Here is
the Jack, Boss" He says Here is the boss, Jack"
[6:06 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Brad, you know I have it on
my agenda, I am just working thru book stuff, but you bet!
[6:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Ah yes!
[6:07 PM] Brad Strickland: I know! Frustrating, isn't it?
[6:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Is the book still due out in
October?
[6:07 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: there's never enough time!
[6:07 PM] Brad Strickland: Laura, together you and I just
did a Jerry Colonna line!
[6:07 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: October 20,
2017 yay!!! for publication
[6:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Ha!
[6:07 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Rockin!!!!
[6:07 PM] Brad Strickland: One week before my birthday.
Well, I know what I want!
[6:08 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: gosh aren't you glad you
know me, Brad, haha
[6:08 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I'll make it a Yom Kippur gift
to myself...
[6:08 PM] Perri: Thank you, Laura! Always
great fun to hang out with you and the gang here. But now I'm going
to drag my sickie self back to bed. Goodnight, all!
[6:08 PM] Brad Strickland: Sure am, Kathy!
[6:08 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Night Perri! Glad
you could be here!
[6:08 PM] Brad Strickland: Aw, sorry Perri's sick!
[6:08 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: gosh Perri, hope you feel
better soon
[6:08 PM] Floyd Riggle: Night Perri
[6:08 PM] Chasia: I am going to head out as well - thank
you so much for hosting, Laura. Hope you all have a great night, and I hope I'm
able to catch you next month
[6:08 PM] Perri: Thanks, y'all -- see you next time!
[6:08 PM] Laura Leibowitz: So what other Benny-related
thoughts, questions, discussion?
[6:09 PM] R.Hookie: For those interested, Carnac on Johnny
on Antenna TV tonight... about an hour
[6:09 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Sounds good, Chasia! Thanks
for stopping!
[6:09 PM] Brad Strickland: I am finally finished with all
the rewrites on the King Kong book, so now maybe I can get some other stuff
done.
[6:09 PM] Laura Leibowitz: So are we calling it good for
this month? With so many people in the room, I don't want to shut
it down if we've still got steam.
[6:09 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: Carnac rocks!!! remember
that you can find Johnny's undergrad thesis READ OUTLOUD BY HIM at
the University of Nebraska library website
[6:10 PM] Brad Strickland: I have that downloaded, Kathy!
[6:10 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: And in Johnny's undergrad
thesis, he spills out his love for jack Benny and Fred Allen
[6:10 PM] R.Hookie: I'll need to look that up
[6:10 PM] Floyd Riggle: I was at a company event this last
week (dinner). Lots of young folks - non of them ever heard about
Jack Benny.
Sending of of the guys some of the radio shows and the full
shows on YOUTUBE. Wish where was a way to re-introduce
Jack to these newer generations.
[6:10 PM] Brad Strickland: Well, I guess I can turn in,
too. Three-year olds party hard and wear one out.
[6:10 PM] Brad Strickland: Goodnight!
[6:10 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Night, Brad! Thanks
for being here!
[6:10 PM] R.Hookie: Goodnight Brad
[6:11 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: so long, folks!! and Laura,
I will be in touch about flying up to see you soon, like in July
[6:11 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd - I hear
that. You'd be surprised how many young folks look up the club
after seeing Jack on YouTube.
[6:11 PM] Steve Archer: We did Johnny's thesis as a chat
topic once Kathy. Probably one of the transcripts captures it.
[6:11 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Steve - Good memory,
Steve. I'd forgotten that!
[6:11 PM] Kathy Fuller Seeley: wow, Steve I am always late
to the party, haha! how fun!
[6:12 PM] Floyd Riggle: I have discussed my idea of an HBO
mini-series with a few friends. Some like the
idea. Just something to bring people under 40 to the table.
[6:13 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Floyd - Suffice it to say that
some folks are trying to make something happen. Cross your fingers.
[6:13 PM] Floyd Riggle: Even with the arthritis - I'm
crossing.
[6:13 PM] Laura Leibowitz: Ha
[6:13 PM] Laura Leibowitz: OK, well thanks so much to
everyone for coming by tonight. Really loved sharing that show with
you!
[6:13 PM] Floyd Riggle: and thank you.
[6:13 PM] Laura Leibowitz: See you next month!
[6:14 PM] R.Hookie: So, everyone's spliting?
[6:14 PM] Laura Leibowitz: I think so...unless you've got a
new topic!
[6:14 PM] Steve Archer: Night All! Thanks
again for the fun show and historical treat Laura.
[6:14 PM] Laura Leibowitz: My pleasure.
[6:14 PM] R.Hookie: I got nothin
[6:15 PM] R.Hookie: Good night folks!
