Probably because the companies don't think they will get enough revenue back from the DVD. It takes a lot to transfer them from Video, especially the older movies. And the companies don't want to put them time, resources or the green stuff into it becuase they are afraid that people won't buy it. If you are interested in some really good old movies on DVD check out CATCOM's selection. they have a lot of really old movies (I don't think any Benny ones), but tehy do have a lot of movies that are harder to find.
