:Do any of you have another example of a JB story/joke you may have heard or seen told by a comedian/comedienne on either the radio, television, or in person? What was it? (Perhaps he/she said it was one of his/her favorites.)

I read a story once told by Frank Nelson, the
character on Jack's show who always said
"Yeeeeeessssss!". Frank told about the time they
were doing the show entitled "Murder at Romanov's",
also know as the show when Don Wilson said "Dreer
Pooson" instead of "Drew Peerson". Right after
Don slipped up, the writers pulled Frank aside
and told him to change his line when Officer O'Benny
was to show up at Romanov's. Frank didn't want to
change the line without Jack's permission, but the
writers convinced Frank that this new joke would
be a hoot and Jack would love it. When Officer
O'Benny arrived at the restaurant, he asked Frank
"Are you the doorman?". Frank quipped back, "Who
do you think I am, Dreer Pooson?". Frank said Jack
laughed so hard he fell on the floor and laid ther
until he could compose himself! The audience went
nuts can hear it on the tape. It's a
great episode if you ever get the chance to hear it.
Frankie Sinatra, Rosiland Russel, Gene Kelly and
Michael Romanov guess starred on this episode.
