This episode sends chills down my spine every time
I hear the very beginning, a man announces
that they would interrupt the broadcast for any news
updates. Then right after Dennis starts singing his
song, they interrupt the show.....they mention that
all police officers and anyone on the police force
are instructed to report to work for 12 hour shifts
or something along those lines. To hear those interruptions
on radio for war updates makes my stomach drop. If
you're really interested in this broadcast (Dec.7),
I highly recommend that you also get Nov.30, Dec.14,
and Dec. 21. All excellent shows (quite funny as
a matter of fact) and they all fit together.
Having been born in 1970, Sept. 11 to be exact
(I never want to celebrate my birthday again), I
always hoped that I would NEVER have to experience
what people experienced during WWI and WWII. But
now my worst fears have come true. On the other
hand, I also was afraid that I might never get the
chance to experience the wonderful patriotism that
Americans came to know during WWII. And now I
know what it was like.............

God Bless America!!!!!
