: Here in Kansas City KMBZ-AM (980 on the dial) broadcasts "When Radio Was" from 10:00 PM Saturday night until 5:00 AM Sunday morning. KMOX (1120) in St. Louis, as posted, also broadcasts this show.
i earlier posted about the When Radio Was web-page. well instead, go to www.radiospirits.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page. you'll see a "Quicklinks" button. hit it and scroll down until you see the banner "Past Archives". hit that and it'll take you to the week's worth of episodes of When Radio Was. you can either listen by Windows Media Player or RealAudio but the catch is that you have to "log-in" for free membership to their site. a page should come up asking for an e-mail address, your age, and the state you live in and that's it. a password is also required. i'm passing this along for anyone who might not be able to be in the vicinity of a radio station that airs OTR and this way over the internet a person can hear the shows crystal clear with no static. one of the shows airing this past week was Phil Harris and Alice Faye's. the episode was about Phil thinking he was being drafted into the military. Alan Reed makes a guest appearance near the end of the show.
